Industrial Technologies 2010 Event - integrating, nano, materials and production
On 7, 8 and 9 September 2010, a major conference in the area of Industrial Technologies will be organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the Belgian EU Presidency. The focus will be on nanotechnologies and nanosciences, materials and manufacturing technologies, which are the key areas of the FP7 NMP Theme.
The European Industrial Technologies Conference will address:
- The need for innovation within European industry and major obstacles hindering innovation;
- Future perspectives for industry with newly developed manufacturing technologies, materials and nanotechnologies;
- The social, environmental sustainability and competitiveness perspectives of the European manufacturing industry.
It’s all about:
- Promoting NMP technology & knowledge transfer to the industrial world,
- Visiting NMP-integrated companies,
- Strategic networking at the FP7 mid-term review,
- Sharing views on a brokerage event,
- Fostering interaction between the NMP & Manufuture communities.
The initiative will gather:
- The nano- , the materials- and the production technology communities under the FP7 NMP theme;
- The Manufuture research community and the stakeholders of the «Factories of the Future» Public-Private Partnership;
- Industrial and academic speakers;
- An interactive exhibition.
