The 2010 edition of Marinha Grande's Brokerage Event Joint Summit (Portugal), taking place next 21st September, at OPEN incubator, will be a catalytic forum gathering the Industry's Stakeholders, Companies, Technology Suppliers, Technological Centres, Researchers and Universities, towards the establishment of European Scale partnerships for R&D, Networking, Technology Transfer and Business development.
Dedicated to the Engineering, Tooling and Plastic Processing Industries the Marinha Grande's Brokerage Event 2010 has as main objectives:
- To support the establishment of international innovation networks involving Companies, Suppliers, R&D organisations and Customers;
- To promote the development of adding value Business partnerships, market-oriented R&D and Innovation European Projects;
- To sustain the generation, transfer and take-up of technological solutions and innovative systems, supporting the launch of new products and knowledge-based services.
Having in consideration the recently launched calls for projects under the EUREKA's EuroStars Programme and the EU's 7th Framework Programme, the Brokerage Event 2010 will be instrumental in the establishment of international consortia towards the launch of R&D and Innovation projects and for the exploitation of Business Opportunities.
The Brokerage Event 2010 is a co-organisation of CENTIMFE (The Technological Center for the Mouldmaking, Special Tooling and Plastic Industries), OPEN incubator and AdI (Agência da Inovação), in straight articulation with the Portuguese Ministry for Science, Technology and Higher Education, EUREKA initiative, the European ProFactory network, the Cemicro network and several other industrial associations, research institutes, companies and European projects and platforms. The initiative has the umbrella support of the European Tooling Platform ( www.toolingplatform.manufuturenet.eu ).
The Brokerage Event 2010 is an initiative integrated in the Moulds Event 2010 (www.mouldsevent.com)
